Patrick Huet - the extreme ice edge.
Nothing beats a walk on the top of the ice to really realize the extent of a glacier. (The photos on this blog are copyrighted)
Falling Rhone
A Gletsch I continued another three miles along a small path to arrive flat near the rockfall at the bottom of the cliff and watch the fall of the Rhone. No question though
me up onto the cliff with your bare hands. The wind in the bunch, the peaks of snow, and cold crossed the clothes as soon as the sun was hiding behind a cloud. I returned to Gletsch to spend the night in "Hotel du Rhone Glacier.
From dawn to the glacier
The next day, dawn greeted my first steps towards the glacier. A crow flies, three miles, but following the laces of the road (totally deserted of cars) it took nearly six miles. This was especially the latter which was the most painful. The slope became well pronounced even more pronounced. Several times I overheard whistling ... person either before or behind! It is only by chance that I discovered it was marmots. They emit short whistles, very striking.
The tip of the glacier: sand and ice
The glacier itself is fabulous, but you have to climb on his back or to approach very closely to discover the vast surface.
far, we do not notice it because all the beginning, the first five hundred meters, is partly covered with sand, small gravel (probably from the mountains around). In places, there is a thin layer of soil carried there, I suppose, by the wind. Viewed from afar, this tip of the glacier is not very nice to look at, but if one takes the trouble to climb a few steps, the vision changes soon.
adventure on the ice
The adventure begins when you actually set foot on the ice. But we must be extremely careful because of flaws sometimes arise through the ice itself, some narrow, others wide of more than one meter. If you approach them the wrong way, a simple swipe of not sending you to the depths of the fault.
(At the beginning of this blog, you have a photo - Photo copyright Patrick HUET)
, so do not go near them. Only with the greatest care and advancing upwards, that I could address two of them safely and take some pictures.
Pink Snow and ice cliff
Once out of the blackened area of sand and gravel, snow flowing magnificent awaits. It covers that part of the glacier. What a pleasure to run on these white flakes and sometimes even pink. And when it raises its head, it opens our eyes to the immense cliffs to seven or eight miles away - the ice cliffs of an extraordinarily bright blue light in the morning.
the extreme limit of the glacier
Where is important not to venture alone, it is the extreme limit of the ice.
For my part, I only went there because I had the chance to detect a passage providing access to the very spot where the river Rhone is formed and precipitates out of the glacier.
Under the high wall of ice, a lake was formed, but a roaring lake driven by a great power.
I went to the rock where the torrent exploded, swirling, and then jumped over the cliff. That is why we should not go alone. A single false move, and it is carried away by the force of the torrent and then shredded by a fall of several hundred meters.
Recognizing the risk, I did not even want to put me on his belly to touch the stream of the hand (it was close to that point), preferring to remain firmly attached and take pictures of impressive memories.

To access the Rhone (in Swiss German), I first borrowed a path steeper going from the town of Oberwald up at the hamlet of Gletsch.
That day, the Rhone river was in flood, two times more potent than a decade ago. Six miles to walk six kilometers to climb and climb still, seeing the Rhone flowing over rocks in a row deafening.

Jac Vanek Bracelet In The Uk
Thanks to everyone who bought their Brisebois. You allow an artist to be paid for his work and continue to do so, but, more importantly, offer you a beautiful gift. Happy reading!

Patrick Huet - back to the Rhone Glacier
Ten years after -
return to the heights
You are all invited .
return to the heights
You are all invited .
On 27 June 1998, I took my departure for a great adventure, walk along the Rhone.
For so long the song of water invited me to travel, (singing rivers, streams ...) until spring 1998, I made a big decision: follow the whole course of Rhone, from the glacier until it reaches the sea . Not by boat, not on horseback but on foot!
A Journey nearly 1000 km on foot
was the first of my long walks along the rivers. June 2008 - Birthday of my trip
this year to celebrate ten years of this great adventure, I'll go back to the Rhone Glacier. I'll be the Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28 .
Open invitation to all
I am delighted to welcome you near the glacier and celebrate with you this wonderful birthday.
By train, one can approach 15 km from the glacier and u shuttle could not even take us there . If the idea appeals to you, you can contact me and I will give you information on the route (by road or rail). My address: 73 rue Patrick Huet Duquesne 69006 LYON .
I will gladly show you around and show you the beginnings of the Rhone and the ice so wonderfully blue spark over the mountain.

Where Can I Find A Snap Belt
There are rumors ...
We heard that Patrick might be Book Fair Quebec this weekend. Since it is not invited as an author (His Catechesis was released in fall 2006), he will wear a disguise to remain incognito and so walk quietly from one stand to another.
(Secret for big big fan: It seems that Patrick disguises himself as Bruce Willis to go unnoticed in the crowds.)

Slik Tripods Replacement Parts
The new method of work of Patrick
"I swear, then I tripe! " - Patrick Brisebois Patrick wrote
now standing in her kitchen, with a pencil and paper. This new approach is more comfortable for several reasons, beginning with his chronic pain in the neck that do suffer from a good time (and who may, someday, lead to a serious addiction to morphine). In addition, Patrick feels more active in this way, he feels that his work is more physical and dynamic. More importantly, if I say that Patrick has an uncontrollable tendency to walk around in circles and when thinking or talking on the phone, you will understand why his new position is much more comfortable. Now he can waltz in his own way while working. His brain is activated at the same time as his legs, it's wonderful, right? If his brainpower is specially shaped, it may increase its aerobic fitness in the coming weeks.
Remember that knowledge workers have also need a carcass healthy!

Orange County Gloryholes
It has copies of books! Patrick Brisebois
I dragged a big box of 50 books (50 books ... but I wonder how much it makes books?) City of Louiseville into my mini bunker. Fortunately, I had my caddy SDF to facilitate my task. The tip was the most difficult to cross the road that is supposed to be gone for joining me. As I am brave (I'm going to the gym, flies), I took all my luggage at once to swim to my door. Ouch. It was not easy. However, it was worth it: I can finally spread Brisebois Patrick! So I have 50 books in my possession, and about a quarter is already booked. Do not panic, there are still some boxes in Patrick, the Fouine guard with pride (and serious). They are safe. (But if you type very anxious and you worry anyway, simply book your copies!)

Images Of Extra Large Fibroid
Letters to the Editor
Hello Dear Fan Club Patrick Brisebois.
I read and reread with delight all publications of Patrick Brisebois and I wonder if you have information on her next novel. I do not know what to put myself between the teeth and the pen of Patrick Brisebois I miss. He abandoned his job?
My life has no meaning.
Help me.
Sebastian L., Beauport
Dear Sebastian,
Your great passion for the work of Patrick Brisebois is very touching. I doubt that I could "help", and I am very sorry. For cons, I can assure you that Patrick is still having a mine in the pen (oh yeah!). He is currently writing his fifth novel, which bears the provisional title of Redfield Park * (You probably know this place, Sebastian!). The presentation of the manuscript should be soon, then we can expect a new novel by Patrick Brisebois before the end of 2008.
-Lora
* We just informed me, in my hearing aid ultra-sophisticated, the real title for his latest novel would rather Magentafield Park. But nothing is certain. I'll let you know.

Dr.mrs. Vandertramp Online Test
Tests - errors. A new
I'm stuck in my adaptation of carcasses to Twilight, I did not have much time to put on this project, which becomes tedious, so I thought that adapting a book would allow me to make comics without scripting. I thought it would be simple, but the problem is that ANY comic is still a lot to do! But hey, it's not finished yet, Stephane Larue needleful me in a new direction. I'll try to see what happens.

The Basic Tool Of Genetic Regulation
rather disturbing
most fans abreast of gossip already knew Patrick had a bowling party tonight. Many were shocked, shocked to see. Those will be even more amazed to hear this: your jeunauteur dark just write to me saying he just "catch the sting of bowling" (his words) and he even has to return tomorrow with his buddies South Shore. " Patrick
tripe about bowling.
It is supposedly very good for offal. In short, Dark Hen Pat discovered a new passion.
He fully intends to enroll in the Bowling League of Louisville to win any awards, because it's easy. That

Otherwise ... Patrick goes well anyway. He had a good time Holidays. It removes snow entry. He speaks with three cats. But he never leaves the bar Both D.
